The Minetts

About us - The Minetts - ENG The Minetts are a Polish sapphic (WLW) burlesque duo. Partners in life and on stage: Lady Goldblush and Madame Renee.Their art combines the classic art of burlesque with a sapphic perspective, creating performances for the female gaze. Audiences appreciate their grace, charisma, and the way they portray sensuality and women’s love with elegance and sophistication, far away from cheap eroticism. The Minetts are also producers of cultural events for the FLINTA* community. They have created a space where burlesque and high-quality artistic performances meet a genuine commitment to safety, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging. Their best-known project is a series of cultural evenings featuring sapphic burlesque, titled “Sapphic Burlesque Show & more!” Our mission - ENG We’re The Minetts, sapphic burlesque performers and producers. For over a year now, we’ve been regularly organising burlesque events in Kraków exclusively for FLINTA* people. We were the first in Poland, and so far the only ones, to create a space that combines theatre, burlesque and elegant, high-quality events with a genuinely safe and welcoming environment for the FLINTA* community. After experiencing first-hand the reality that almost all queer events are either primarily aimed at gay men or simply don’t provide a safe space for the wider community, especially women, we decided it was time to change that and create the kind of space we ourselves had been missing. Our events have received an overwhelmingly positive response from our audience, many of whom have finally found a place where they feel they truly belong. As event producers, we also collaborate with minority-owned businesses and artists whose work and values we genuinely believe in. Through burlesque and dance, we show that femininity has no single definition and that there is no one right way to be a woman. Beyond our events themselves, we also organise workshops centred around self-respect, body acceptance and learning to love your body. We believe deeply in the power of sisterhood and female strength. Our goal is to reach as many women and FLINTA* people as possible and spread a message of body positivity, self-love, femininity and equality, all within a space that is safe, welcoming and inclusive.
