This heartwarming film recounts the remarkable true events of the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM) campaign during the 1984-85 UK miners' strike. Amidst a turbulent political landscape, a group of London-based queer activists recognized a shared struggle and began raising funds to support the striking miners and their families in a small Welsh village. Their compassionate initiative led to an extraordinary, unexpected bond between two seemingly disparate communities. "Pride" highlights the power of solidarity, illustrating how empathy and mutual support can bridge divides and ignite lasting friendships in the face of adversity.
