House Dance & Whacking Workshop

BEFORE WE HIT THE DANCEFLOOR, LET’S MOVE. House music has always been more than the sound coming from the Soundsystem. It grew through Black, Latinx and queer communities, where the dancefloor became a space for expression, connection and freedom, and where dancers and DJs shaped each other’s languages. So before the DJs take over, we’re opening the floor to the bodies that give the music life. Come learn, move, share and get ready to dance together. 🔗 🪄Only 20 spots are available per workshop, so make sure to secure yours in advance. Registration link in bio. For this edition of Others to the Baile, we’re inviting The Better Move to take over the hours before the party with two dance workshops: House Dance with Cristina Buenaflor @cris.cbv and Whacking with Thomasito @30secondsthomas The Better Move (TBM) is a project connecting dance communities and the nightlife to bring more movement-based, health-enhancing, and culturally rooted experiences into club programming. The project focuses on supporting club dance cultures such as House Dance, W*acking and Vogue/Ballroom, and centers LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, acknowledging their essential role in club culture. TBM is a project by @vibelab_network in collaboration with @dynamicarts and @tothefloor.berlin 24.10.2026 · @crackbellmer · 19:00–22:00 House Dance + Whacking · The Better Move Together we are stronger 🫦 Source: https://www.instagram.com/otherstothefront/
