We're Here

“We're Here” is an inspiring American reality television series from HBO that began in 2020. It follows three celebrated drag artists – initially Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O'Hara, and Shangela Laquifa Wadley – as they travel to various small towns across the United States. In each location, they recruit local residents to participate in a one-night-only drag show. The series beautifully captures the journey of self-discovery and empowerment for these new drag performers, often highlighting the challenges and triumphs of queer visibility and acceptance in communities where it may be scarce.
