Born This Way

Born This Way is a compelling documentary that shines a light on the reality of queer lives in Cameroon, where same-sex acts are criminalized. Through personal stories, the film introduces viewers to a community that faces daily discrimination, social ostracization, and legal threats simply for existing. It portrays the resilience and courage of LGBTQ+ Cameroonians as they strive for acceptance, safety, and the freedom to express their identities in a deeply conservative environment. This film is a vital watch for SAFO users, offering crucial insight into the global struggles of our community and fostering solidarity with those fighting for basic human rights in challenging circumstances.
